Question Hello i got a problem with my 1060

im playing nier atuomata and its on smooth 60fps even in the open world. but whenever im in combat, the fps lowers to 40s and gpu usage is 100%
what i noticed is whenever the gpu reaches 100% the fps lowers significantly.. whats causing this? does that mean my gpu is unable to run the game smoothly? and why only during combat?
im running the 3gb version of 1060 but i guess it performs the same as the 6gb version in nier automata

it could be running at 100% during combat is because of the animations and other effect that the gpu has to render so it gets utulized more

I see.. and can i fix that? because its so irritating that i rather play it on the PS4 at this point. i tried lowering the graphics to medium but the problem still persists. could it be a CPU problem?
