Hello! i would like to OC my Q6600. I have 0 exp, can you help

maybe u need more volts on the ram.1.8 sounds rather low in oc.

its only 2 sticks of 1gb, so i raised it to 1.90v but i get rounding errors in prime95 blend and small fft test, which i thought means more vcore.

atm im back on my cool stable 3.25ghz at 1.4v vcore and have tightend the ram timings a load and am stable in prime95....otherwise

if you have pass small ffts but fail blend that means its ram fail you need to loosen the timing or increase voltage.

nope i fail small fft with any lower vcore, i guess its just an unlucky cpu. o well ill just stick to 3.25ghz

@OP: What's your vdroop?

my vdroop is 0, what i set in bios is what i get in the CPU Z. this mobo really is good at halding that, i also enabled load line claibiration which helps it.

only at 3.40Ghz i saw the Vcore sometime 1 notch above what i set in bios in CPU Z when running small fft test.
