Hello,
I am having a strange problem with my 2 computers that i own. It first started with my older computer, the dell xps 410. Just a little while ago it started to boot up but I wouldn't get anything on the screen. I moved the ram around to see if that would help, and it did. But the next day it wouldn't show up on the screen again, so I tried the same method of changing the ram around, but no luck. And now, I finished making a custom computer about 2 months ago, which was working fine until today. Now it is having the same problem as the dell xps 410, in that the system will turn on but nothing on the screen. I did the whole switch the ram around thing, but it still is not working. I just find it kind of strange that the 2 computers I have are having the same problem, so i'm guessing that it's not a problem with the computer. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
P.S. also sometimes my old xps 410 will start up on its own, but very rarely. Most of the time I get nothing on the screen. Also the motherboards and processors are working, as they make a beeping noise when i have no memory in the motherboards, showing that they are reading the memory sticks.
