My computer has a new issue in which randomly the screen will go back and then return to the motherboard screen, this happens at random times with no correlation.
Specs - Ryzen 3 2300x
Rx570 8gb
16gb ddr4 ram

Also monitor your cpu and gpu temps to make sure they aren’t too high. For a power supply you want a decent one. The manufacturers have their budget lines and good lines, so you want to try to get a good one. Check this thread out.

There should be a psu tier list around someplace(on my phone atm). Personally I’ve got a Corsair rmx 850 Modular that I like, but my needs may be different than what yours are. But if you think you’ll upgrade later it may be good to buy up if you can. For example I’ve got a gtx 1060 3gb card installed now, but I’ve got an rx 6700xt on the way.

I just performed a stress test on it and it seems to crash everytime I load it, I googled it and it’s telling me that it’s definitely now a PSU problem. Does that sound valid to you?

Probably. Heat would almost need time to build up. I would say make sure where you buy it from has a good return policy such as Amazon for example, then if that doesn’t solve it you have the option to return.
Brilliant thank you I do have another power supply that I can get my hands on tomorrow so I’ll let you know if thats the right solution.
