I reset the bios (because Windows update broke something so I though that reseting it would read my hard drive) and now it recognises nothing under boot devices although it does on the initial black bios screen and on the advanced tab showing whats connected to ahci port0. It shows that my 2TB Drive and CD/DVD drive are connected. But when I go to the Boot order tab and hit "Hard Disk Drives Priorities" it shows nothing. Just black and the same goes with all the other priorities.
I have tried removing the Motherboards battery and left it to drain. To it resets completely. I tried only one stick of ram and still nothing.
(if i connect another hard drive or the dvd drive its the same so it's NOT a faulty hard drive, have also tried different sata cables)
system says 'reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected vice and press any key'
ACER BIOS
version 2.15.1227
any advice on how to get my hard drive or any device recognised in boot devices.
thank you.
