I'm looking to build a gaming pc, the next month, around $1500ish dollars (only from the components listed below), i'll mostly be playing, but i plan to do some modeling and rendering plus the normal stfuff like browsing, etc. I'd prefer an Intel CPU, and asus motherboard since it's the easiest to obtain round here, but i'll take any advice, and try to find the pieces if you recommend something else. No need of a SO, i can get it from school. I have a toaster and have save some money to get a good PC, and i really want to build one, but since im new i to this, i prefer to not overclock.

What i need:

CPU:
CPU Cooler:
Motherboard:
Memory
Video Card:
Power Supply:
Optical Drive:

So thanks in advance for any advice you give me, i'll take all suggestions.

Solution
This, will do everything you want. Plus, IF you want, you can overclock it later when you feel more comfortable with it. In the meantime, it's a smashing good system as is.:

what that asus motherboard is better you crazy go see what gigabyte has to offer

man yes it can if you have good motherboard like gigabyte to support it i saw it with my own eyes he has both connected and working gigabyte is better and it can make that happen

You know, you're an idiot, you always post stupid nonsense here. Why don't you just go away and read a book on how to not be an idiot and then come back and try again? Hmm? Because nothing you post here ever makes the slightest bit of sense. And it's not just a language barrier, it's foolishness and being just plain wrong. Clearly you have little to no experience with hardware so stop making recommendations to people that are stupid and irrelevant.

And if you don't have your own hardware experiences to draw from, we don't want to hear about what your "friend" has or doesn't have. Sounds like he's an idiot too if he has a GTX 980 and a 290x in the same rig. Oh, they'll run as separate cards to support multiple monitors, but they won't run together and will most likely create more conflict than solution. Sigh. I don't get you people.

Seriously, you have a LIGHT on your MONITOR and that makes ASUS motherboards bad? Urrrrgggggghh, I just can't even tell you how fracking stupid that sounds. I'll probably get dinged for this post, but sometimes it just has to be said.

I joined this forum to gain professional opinions and to learn. When there's people like you on here, it honestly makes me want to leave.

well i renember how asus was good back then i still have my asus m2n but gigabyte can support many stuff than asus gigabyte can support amd and nvidia graphics togheter

This makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever.

I tried not to go on a murderous rampage... You were the first to give in. 😛

you dont know anything about hardware more than me i can prove that gigabyte is better and faster than asus motherboard any day and YES it can support amd and nvidia if your RUNING GIGABYTE!!!!

And this, is just plain a lie. It's impossible, aside from just supporting two monitors, an Nvidia and AMD card could never work together. Uh. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh. Heh.

how can he lie because he bought the pc with me in the store than we togheter made it work and its possible if you buy relly new and good gigabyte mother board

hahahahah idiot asus fan boy go learn about gigabyte it can support anything you want from it your stuck on old pc year

We don't know anything about hardware more than me? Coming from the 15 year old who says he's associated with Microsoft and that an Nvidia GPU works with an AMD GPU... The Ignorance is great within this one..

Okay, you like Gigabyte, we understand. Please refrain from going from post to post explaining how Gigabyte is the best, because it all boils down to a matter of opinion. You may like Gigabyte, others may like Asus, it's as simple as that.

Honestly if someone can't make a thread looking for professional help but can't due to silly things like this, then the whole forums looks like a joke.

i finished school before you
