Question Help buying used RAM

I was looking to buy this 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666MHz DDR4 RAM kit. The guy is offering them for a pretty good price but they have been run at 3000MHz for a year or two and used only for gaming. Now, my question is - Is it safe to buy these? Should I worry about failure in the near future? Anything will help, really.

It's possible they started crashing at 3000MHz, but I'm sure they would run at their stock DDR4 2666. If it doesn't come with a money-back guarantee I would pass.

well, when you buy products used there is always that risk. depending on how much gaming the seller did it's hard to say how much use the sticks have gotten

if the price is a "too good to be true" kinda thing i would pass

New RAM is cheap right now. I'm sure used RAM is even cheaper, but new RAM is cheap compared to prices the past two years.
