HELP CHOOSE ATI CARD

hi.
I was recently told to purchase an ATI graphics card.
Also so you know I have always used EVGA GTX so i know nothing about ATI.
i will use it for gaming, not worried about maxing everything out. I just don't want lag or slow game play when a lot is happening at once.

guild wars2 / dragons age origins / diablo 3 / AND SUCH

watch movies // Maximum Resolution 1440 x 900 // I will upgrade much later.

i5-750 / asus sabertooth / G.SKILL Ripjaws Series /

must have pixel shader /// I will never use crossfire.

these are the ones i need to choose from. Or around the 200$ mark OR UNDER.

newegg power supply and card combo. power supply xfx rates the same as corsair 750. and same price. combo discount -$70.00 Combo then -$40.00 Instant. since i was going to get the CORSAIR CMPSU-750HX 149$ the xfx power supply is the same price but when i buy card and psu toger i got all those discounts so just subtract from card cause the corsair by itself was the same price. 😀

Interesting creative use of math but putting an XFX PSU on par with Corsair isn't right.

yes and no..xfx has double lifetime warranty, where gigabyte has 3 year The xfx psu has 5 year and modular. which is what i was looking for in a psu. besides quality. the hx series is modular and the tx series is not. hx series is 149. the tx series is 119.
jonnyguru gave the xfx psu the exact same rating as the hx series. and both are modular. newegg did not have any combos (i wanted)with the hx series so it was a flat 149.99. So at first i was paying $149.99 for the hx then $339 for the card. now the way i look at it is... $149.99 for the pasu and 230$ for the card, cause before i had no discount. silly i know but makes me feel better thinking about it that way lol.
