My PCs' Cooler just died today, the PC gave me an American megatrends CPU fan error. it was just a stock cooler about 80 to 90ish mm long and wide, I want a new one that just gets the job done with cooling the CPU,not interested in overclocking or anything.
The socket type is a LGA1151 (Mother board : ASUS H110M-K)
The CPU is an Intel I5,3Ghz 0.9V
Here's a pic of the inside of the case: View: https://imgur.com/a/SZJkB0n

Thanks in advance.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - M9 Plus 48.4 CFM CPU Cooler ($29.95 @ Amazon) Total: $29.95 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-03-10 06:27 EDT-0400

Make sure you clean all that old paste off the cpu. The cooler will come with new paste.

Your cpu is an Intel i5-7400? You need a cooler about 90mm in all directions (90mm x 90mm x90mm)? I don't see you RAM in that photo (to see if it will interfere with the cooler), but with those measurements, I would consider the Noctua NH-L9x65:

Height (with fan) 65 mm
Width (with fan) 95 mm
Depth (with fan) 95 mm

Here is another:

Phanteks PH-TC90LS CPU Cooler: Heatsink Dimension (LxWxH) with Single Fans 95x95x45mm

If you have room for a larger cooler, I could provide more choices. (The Cryorig M9 Plus mentioned above is 125mm in height.)

Could also do any of these if you need lower profile.

CPU Cooler: Scythe - Shuriken Rev. B 3 11.81 CFM CPU Cooler ($29.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! - SHADOW ROCK LP 51.4 CFM CPU Cooler ($43.38 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Reeven - Brontes RC-1001b 30.39 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($34.99 @ Amazon)

My personal choice would be the Reeven Brontes, then the beQuiet LP.

My understanding is that he needs something around 90mm in all directions. Those would all be too big as are the Coolermaster EVO and Deep Cool. He will need to clarify the size needed. From the photo, it really looks like he has more width and depth than 90mm each.

Mobo real-estate has definite limits. There's a guarantee on every mobo that components will not be allowed within a certain distance of the cpu socket. I've never seen a mobo, and that includes mITX and other SFF settings that won't allow anything bigger than the stock cooler. There's plenty of room, even if op has to move the ram to the 2nd slot.

The nice part about the Intel socket is its versatility, the pins are perfectly square. You can apply a cooler such as the Brontes in any orientation.
