Your build is better for gaming and far better value. His has a better CPU so a very few CPU limited games may run better in his, he has more RAM but 8Gb is enough for gaming anyway and he also has a slightly bigger harddrive.

as simon said your build is far better value for money

BUT i know Corsair CX430W is a good PSU it could still be slightly under the requirements for a Phenom II X4 975 / 7870.

Though just found it has 32amps on the 12V rail. Might just get away with it, but i would go with a 500W at least.

Good point I missed that, also as your board supports crossfire you could go for 600-700W to allow you to add a second card later.

Comparing those two builds is kind of hard, because one of the PC's is good value and retionaly built (yours) while the other is overpriced and very unbalanced but looks good (made to sell).
