what did you decide on (gpu/psu) to do a run through to make sure because some psu/gpu use different connectors

i personally like newegg-your call

I really advice against those psu's. Never, ever, go cheap on the psu. This is one of the most important parts of your system ; it has to deliver all the right currents to all parts of your system in a stable way.
Good psu's are Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, XFX.
Really, pay just 20 bucks more and get a good one.

I don't know lol. Which would go the best? I play video games and want to connect to my hd tv.

If you had to pick a psu and gpu for 250 or under. What would be the choice?

will you be using more than 1 monitor at a time?

Only sometimes and its not neccesaarry at all. The only time I will is when I'm streaming movies to my hd tv and want to browse the internet on my computer monitor.

This is what I came up with,

Newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182044

total of $215 - $20 mail-in rebate (GPU)

Tiger Direct

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5344842&sku=T925-3012

$240 - $40 mail-in rebate (1 for the GPU and 1 for the PSU)

Hope this helps.

p.s. you may want a dvi-to-vga adaptor if you wish so

Solution

correct me if i am wrong,

1 cd/dvd drive

1 sata hdd

20+4 main power

+4 12v cpu power

2x 6-pin pci-e connectors (for the new gpu)

you will be fine if you choose to hook up both of the cd drives

as for the integrated graphics, if it boots with a signal through the gpu on the first try then you do not

if it does not, you will have to change some settings in the bios

I have everything installed. All seems to be working well but when I try to play a game it says I need drivers. How do I install the drivers for this graphics card? and where do I install them?

Nevermind I figured it out. Everything works great except my CD drives dont work. Pretty sure I didnt plug the power into them cause I couldnt find it. But oh well I never use them anyways.

Thanks so much. I can run everything on highest settings, Stream video on my 60" tv and play Starcraft on highest settings on the monitor at same time with no lag. So awesome.
