Hello,

I have a serious problem with my graphic card.

Here are my specs:

Corsair RM Series RM850
Intel Core i5 4570 3.2GHz
MSI Z87-G45 GAMING
Gigabyte Radeon R9 280X OC WindForce 3X 3GB DDR5 384-bit
14.12 Omega
Kingston HyperX Black 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Dual Channel Kit XMP
SSD Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SATA-III 2.5 inch
Windows 7x 64
Bios updated

So my problem is that my computer is crashing randomly and I suspect the video card is responsible. The crashing are like one colour screen and a annoying noise. I receive no error message and I have to reboot each time my pc.
I can't say it's during a game, the most crashing I have them while watching movies (not HD but Rip), but I also have them while doing nothing.
I reinstalled the windows 2 times already.

Please help, it's already frustrating.

Thank you

it didn't work, maybe I've done something wrong but in the end I must stop tampering with the bios of my GPU because I will lose my warranty.

I think I found 2 solutions:

1 I insist at the seller to give me a new one, maybe I have luck with the next one.
2 In case I have no succes with the seller, I will sell it and buy an Nvidia.

Thank you for your help

ok i have the same exact card the windforce version comes with clock speed of 1000mhz for gpu and 1375mhz for ram and im gonna say this once it is a defective product even with a gigabyte board it crashes randomly especially when playing call od duty advanced warfare and i realised there isn't much solutions to this problem online...i fortunately have solved my problem and want to share it...what you have to do is use OC guru 2 by gigabyte and down clock the voltage to 1.11v from 1.17v that's how i got mine to stop crashing hope it works for you
