HELP! I have a problem with my x8 slot (Acer Aspire T3-710)

These are my specs:
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Intel Core I5 6400
NVIDIA GeForce GT730 2GB
3TB
12GB DDR3
DVD-Super Multi
Card Reader
10/100/1000 Wireless LAN + Bluetooth
So i am sure I have a x8 slot on my motherboard and I have a 730 GPU and if I use CPUID/CPU Z it says I have a x8 slot so I want to upgrade to maybe a 750 or 960 but I heard that better GPUS need a x16 slot and I obviously don't have one so I was wondering will it fit into a x8 slot and is it true that all GeForce GPUS can fit into a x8 slot? Please answer my questions and thanks for any help! 😀

The motherboard may be Mini-ITX, but that does not describe the power supply. If your power supply is of ATX form factor, then you should be good buying another ATX form factor power supply. It's sad that they use the same nomenclature.

I would definitely recommend a second opinion on replacing the power supply.
