hey guys , i'm building a high end gaming p.c... i have gathered like 60 % of the stuff.

here's my build

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LbqgTW

(motherboard , cooler , case , psu , ups can be changed accordingly )

i am having trouble to get three parts .. mainly psu.... other two are case and cooler. and a slight confusion with motherboard also 😛

right now i'm having one gpu which's msi twin frozer gtx 980 ti 6gb

but 70% chances are that i'll get another one this year or so( have to save some more bucks for it 😀 ), so thinking about an sli.

with sli setup it shows 735W in total and with single gpu its 485W ( i think these readings are considered if every part is at stock). And hopefully i would be doing overclocking to get best out of every part ...

1.i wanna know which psu would be best for this setup with one overclocked graphic card

2. and whats the other psu option if i switch to 2 way sli ..

3. it would be nice if u could help me with the cooler and case also. for case i'm looking for something sleek . more like console type.

4. u can suggest a good ups also. as power-cuts in summer are often here in india

5. i wont mind a 2nd opinion with motherboard also

while oc the processor and gpus doesn't they need extra power. ?
will this psu be good for my pc parts ? couz i dont want them to get fried .
wat about corsair's psu's ? are they better than the one you suggested or just brandname expensive ?

suggest some better motherboard options also

i have left like 80 k for cooler . case , mobo and psu

and i need one with wifi and bluetooth inbuilt . ranger dont have i suppose

mb with inbuilt wifi and bt is good or should i buy a external one ??

2. ASRock Z170 Extreme7+ ATX Intel Motherboard is better then ranger or not ?

ohki... mate.

although i wanted to built a cpu like console.

do u know any slimmest , or mini case which can hold my

i7 skylane , 980ti , 32(16x2) gb ram 1 tb ssd , 4 tb sshd

and to be purchased parts in it..

i would like things smaller yet stylish.. and make it less space taking. kindda waana keep the case like vo show. not big. bt astounding . u know what i mean.

I like this psu for price EVGA 120-G1-0750-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 750 W 10 yr Warranty Fully Modular NVIDIA SLI Ready .l like the mobo you picked just fine.CPU cooler is more than enough .Case Cooler Master mid case any style to be able to fit your parts if you had used just used single GPU then you could find a narrow case also look up new 1080GTX capable of two 980GTX s just saying then you could shrink things right down and save some coin there :)

psu is good . what about its g2 version , is it worth extra pennies. ?

could you be specific about which mobo are you talking about ?

well i am looking forward for 1080 😍

first off the mother board you chose was Asus Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard and is very premium board l ve owned two asus mobo s in the last ten yrs and no problems still have my first one still running now the kids pc.Now for PSU which ever is cheaper between seasonic or EVGA will be fine then all you will need is a 500 watt with ONE GTX 1080 AND THEN WE CAN GO SMALL!! HERE is my suggestion for a system ,are you ready for it ??
1.Intel Core i7-6700K
2.Thermaltake Core V1 Extreme Mini ITX Cube Chassis
OR ZALMAN M1 Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower PC Case
OR Phanteks Enthoo Evolv iTX Black Steel / Plastic Window Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case PH-ES215P_BK
OR EVGA Hadron Air Mini-ITX Chassis Black with 500W 80Plus Gold Power Supply (110-MA-1001-K1) ALSO a hydro option for liquid cooling
3,ASUS ROG B150I PRO GAMING/WIFI/AURA LGA 1151 Intel B150 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
4.G.Skill TridentZ Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
5.Samsung 850 EVO-Series 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
6.GTX 1080 EVGA (might as well match up Brands)
7.AND what ever else you want to add from your previous list to complete it :)

NOTE the EVGA case comes with a PSU already 500w /80Gold rated
So check out that option
