So my computer crashed and i got the blue screen. After that, the computer got into the "Preparing for Automatic Repair Loop". Even though i tried restarting the computer the same thing happens over and over again so I decided to format it and install new Win10 to it again. So i plugged the installation media and turn the bios priority to usb first. But still the computer doesnt read the usb drive. It will just show the DELL logo and turn off then restart again with the "DELL" logo on it again. I dont know what to do. Pls help

If i remember correctly you have to disable legacy boot and put it to UEFI . Note the path to this option is diff on each motherboard ... look for it. Legacy mode will not regonize w10, just 7. The option will be there

Go to CSM Configuration, ch6ange Storage and Video to UEFI.

Since your pc does post it seems like the most plausible cause, maybe the mbo reset itself. orrr it's the method u used for mounting.

I've already done this but it still cant enter the windows installation. I tried the installation media on another pc and it works but on my pc it still cant enter the windows installation menu. It is stuck on dell logo and will restart in a few secs.

What model dell is it? I see if there is anything else you have to do. like turn off secure boot.

Legacy should recognise win 10, that has never been a restriction? Legacy doesn't know what GPT is but Win 10 will easily install on legacy. I have had both on this PC.
