Question HELP! LAPTOP SUDDENLY SHUTS DOWN AND WONT TURN ON AGAIN

i was playing a game and suddenly it shuts down with no warning it all just went black i tried plugging it in a charger but no led light saying that it was charging. what seems to be the problem?

My laptop is an asus vivobook

Two possible options:
1. Overheating.
2. It died completely.

If #1, let it to cool a while. In well ventilated room, with good airflow around it (especially under it).

If #2, haul it to PC repair shop and pay for diagnostics + fix. Or buy a new laptop.
