Help me build a gaming computer for at least $1100

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Hardcore Gaming

Do I need to buy OS: Yes

Location: San Antonio Texas, United States

Overclocking: Don't care

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1680 x 1050

Additional Comments: I have made a build on pcpartpicker that shows basically everything I want. I would like to keep the gtx 670 and 16 GB of RAM and have a 2 TB HDD also I would prefer a 6 core cpu. If you guys could fill in and change everything on there that's not so good or too expensive that would be highly appreciated.

For extreme gaming, a 7970 is better than the 670 gtx, and a intel quadcore i5 much, but much better than that amd six "core" cpu, which is in fact a three core cpu.
You can have the 7970 even cheaper and with three games, here is my suggestion :

Thank you for the answer I really appreciate it, I did look at the 7970 before so I did some research on it and a lot of people say their drivers are garbage plus I make youtube videos and I hear the 670 is better for that but do you think this could get the job done as well?

Yes, actually they're not that bad, but nividia drivers are indeed better ones, for gaming performance the 7970 is the better one, you could swap the card for the 670 gtx evga FTW if nvidia is your preference (also a really good one).

this is a build for 1500 which is a bit over your budget but it includes and 8 core cpu and a gtx titan, the best graphics card ever!!
