I have been thinking about building a gaming computer for quite some time and I was wondering if these parts will work together.. I still need a power supply for my setup (NOT SURE IF THIS ONE HAS ENOUGH WATTAGE), as well as a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Can someone tell me if these parts will work together, as well as recommend to me a power supply.

I am new to the computer building scene, as in I've done it beforee, and I wanted to know if this is a good build for about $1000 (including windows 7)

also any tips/reccomendations you can make would be most appreciated.

p.s. will this be able to run games like Guild Wars 2, the upcoming Elder scrolls online etc..

For cases also take a look at corsair r200 and r300. Also look at the new cool master n300 and n500. There made for long gpu and tall CPU coolers.
The power supply you picked out is fine. If you can't wait till end of June intel haswell CPU are dropping and new gpu from nvidia. For a little extra time and money going to get faster gaming parts.

Why a 3TB HDD?
You dont need that big of a PSU if your not gonna CF/CLI
Also you will need a copy of an OS which is another ~$100 your also stating that you need peripherals as well. To get all of that for $1000 is going to be extremely hard to play any new games. From my stand point I would say wait till you can get around $1500.
If you've never built computers before are you sure you want to OC and do you know how to properly do it?

I was going to have the 3tb hard drive cause I plan on having a large digital library of videos, music, etc.. I wasnt planning on overclocking it.

Just looked it up. is 620watts enough for the parts i have? Also, where would you suggest that I upgrade this build to play modern games?

Your first post was good. Other then a higher end and more costly gpu.the only other part would be a Ssd for boot speed. With a power supply your better off buying the larger unit for your money. Most power supply sweet spot is when there loaded to 50 percent of there rated load. If you run ps higher then 70 percent. Few things can happen. The ps can't hold the voltage to the atx spec and your pc blue screen or locks up or resets.
The ps runs hot and loud or under hard load it pops and dies or just stops working. With a gaming rig..your going to stress to ps and gpu so your better off over sizing the ps.

I'm not sure exactly how much wattage I need. Do i just look up each individual piecs running cost and add them up? Also, just to clarify the 750w one is more than enough? Thanks again, sorry if it seems like i'm asking obvious questions. But i have to buy two of these rigs, one for my wife and I. Lol, so as of now with the peripherals I'm buying its going to run me about $2750 and I dont want to mess this up! 🙂

Alright now we got some more info your also making it an HTPC (Home Theater PC) for movies got ya. What I would advise for you right now is to stick close to your budget and just get a 1TB HD and then add more HDDs when you get more money later down the road or get External HDDs which is what I would advise even more.

Since your not OC'ing your Rig, drop the i5 3570k and get the 3550 non 'K' type also drop your motherboard to an H77 (you can get a good one for less than a $100).

Drop the PSU (Power Supply Unit) to a 550W that will be more than enough you can even drop down to a 500W for and still be sitting perfect.

Up your GPU as much as possible right off the back trying reaching for a 670 or a 7950 (7950 IMO).

Drop the CPU cooler since your not OC'ing your Rig you wont have to worry about your CPU overheating the Stock cooler that comes with the processor will be good enough

Thank you for the feedback, i just lowered the power supply and saved $60, lowered the hardrive to a gig and saved $120. (buying external hard drives in the future seems like a better idea.) I wanted to know exactly what motherboard you are talking about and what the difference betweern the intel with and without a k is. Cause as of now on amazon the one with a k is cheaper. 🙂 Thank you so much

Yes it will fit in the case, running Crysis 3 is a whole new level gaming. Im not gonna sugar coat it everyone knows its one of the most demanding games for PCs. I would say it will play it on medium settings, with the right tweaking of settings possible medium high.
