I Want to upgrade my CPU, SO guys help me choose what cpu to buy to fit my current pc

My current PC SPECS :
Athlon 200 GE overclocked to 3.8 Ghz dual core four thread
MSI B450M PRO-VDH
SAPPHIRE RADEON RX 570 8GB
Klevv 2X4GB DDR4 3000 MHz (clocked at 2667mhz by default)
EVGA 450 BV
SEAGATE BARRACUDA 1TB HDD
WD GREEN 120GB SSD
CubeGaming Eiden Case
LG 24 MK600 24Inch
Logitech MK120
3x SYSTEM FANS

i play those pc for gaming just fine, currently i play pubg and apex legends just fine, get fine fps.

Currently i'm learning adobe premier to edit video , i need faster cpu to run that software.
any idea what cpu to change my athlon 200ge? when i take a look ryzen 3/ryzen 5 line up they were both have the same speed as my athlon 200 ge (oc) , i mean around (3.6 ghz - 3.9 ghz)

basically my main question is, does cpu core really matter for video editing ?

my budget around $200 to spend, please NOTE i dont wanna to change my psu since upgrading to more decent cpu means more power needed
thanks

The CPU matters a lot for video editing. It’s not just the speed but number of cores. You’re on 2 cores 4 threads atm but A r7 1700x costs $180~ and has 8 cores and 16 threads. So if your software (a lot can now) can use more than 2 threads you’ll be getting much better performance

Does my psu can hold these cpu pair with my rx 570?
