hi..i want to know whether processor AM2+ can be use or not with motherboard AM2...thats all..thanks for help ;)


-the processor is AMD Athlon 64 X2 7850 Black Edition Dual Core Processor and the motherboard is like below:

Quite a shame, They used to make great motherboards... well... last abit I had was with the Pentium2 Cpu's




I ran a Phenom9950 on an AM2 motherboard then swapped my mobo for an AM3... didn't really see much gain in performance... just gain in support options such as unlocked multiplier.

Your best bet is to find an AthlonX2 6000... They outperform the Athlon7XXX series as they were bad original phenoms to my knowledge.

ok..emm how about the performance of the processor when it use on AM2 motherboard?i heard that the AM2+ processor will not perform well when it use on AM2 motherboard..i read it at wikipedia(AMD athlon 64 x 2)..can anyone comment about this becasuse i'm bit confusing..thanks again.. ;)
