my computer is complete sh!t, and i really want too upgrade it as best i could. Im not a hardcore gamer, but i'd like too be able too run games like Wow on Medium-ish settings and minecraft at decent fps (i get playable fps atm)
Minecraft with optifine - 25-35
Wow (World Of Warcraft) - Low Settings - 30-40 fps in the open and in crowded villages, 10-20.
apparently, the motherboard is based off of the AMD A45 FCH chipset.
the processor is an AMD E1-1500
The graphics card is an integrated one, the amd radeon hd 7310.
The Power supply is only 220w (Read till the bottom)
6gb of ram
windows 8 64 bit
and the case itself is a gateway compaq case.
i know not alot of parts fit into compaq cases, and all of the parts are crap, but i am willing too upgrade whatever i need too to do mid level gaming.
also, in a previous thread regarding the graphics card for this, Mike_Tech posted this "I've been doing some digging and some models of these Gateway units appear to come with a PCI-E slot as there's a few different revisions of the same model.
The sub-model UW308 for example comes with a single physical PCI-E 16x slot - however these slots appear to support 4x speed only so although a card would fit, it would probably not run very well :/ (And it would need to be a half-height card also)"
if you guys need too know anything im ready too answer. any help is greatly appreciated.
