I have Harman Kardon Soundsticks iii (Not the wireless ones).

I got a long desk 2 metres in length. I have the sub woofer on the shelf next to the desk. The problems is that the left speaker cant be placed on the far left because the cable is not long enough.

The right speaker is good because its positioned on the right side of the desk next to the sub. But the left is 2.4 metres away from the sub and the cable don't reach.

I bought a "female to male RCA cable" because i thought i just need to extend it but now when i connect it the left speaker to the extension (Speaker wire to female and the male RCA to the sub) the left speaker is very quiet. i checked the levels and they are correct. What can be the issue?

Solution
then why on all amazon link i find this 3.5 mm cable to get with the speaker ,could you post a picture of the cable connector witout the extension .
Because the signal has to travel a further distance, it might be degrading the signal, making it quieter than the right. Try Scout_03's suggestion, otherwise if you use your computer, you could just change the level balance in windows or Realtek control panel.
