help on memory plz.

i have Asrock H97 pro4 Motherboard and want to buy Ram is 1600mhz with 9 latency better than 10 latency im confused with the latency subject any info would be aprecciated. The higher the latency on ram is better or the lower latency is better?

lower latency means faster...

Anyway, you won't see any significant difference for gaming... you are ok with latency 10 and 1600 MHz... specially since you are using an h97... even if you buy a 1866 or 2100 MHz RAM, it will run at 1600 which is nominal. You actually benefit more by going from 8 to 16GB... don't worry too much about frequencies and latencies.

Get whatever is cheaper.
