Windows 11 Pro - 23H2
The computer boots up fine and most things are openable. Even the HDDs/SSDs seem fine. It looks like it might just be a few apps and files. One such app is Chrome, it opens and stays white and then closes. I uninstalled and reinstalled but that didn't do anything.
As far as fixes go, the pc ran CHKDSK multiple times, and I tried SFC and DISM. The CHKDSK seemingly went fine but both SFC and DISM failed.
SFC said "Windows System Protection Could Not Perform the Requested Operation"
DISM got to about 50% before it failed.
Not sure where to go from here. Any help is appreciated.
Update: Looking at the event viewer, there are alot of errors.
The server {4EB300E9-4F8A-5D14-B795-36796C40660C} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
The following service has repeatedly stopped responding to service control requests: GoogleUpdater InternalService 128.0.6537.0 (GoogleUpdaterInternalService128.0.6537.0)
The device, \Device\Harddisk2\DR2, has a bad block.
The IO operation at logical block address 0x59aec68 for Disk 2 (PDO name: \Device\00000045) was retried.
