Question Help Please

Hi all not sure if i can post this . I have been trying to get a steam game to my external hard drive and hope get it to work .I have watched many utube vids but i cant do it . i live in Parkwood i am a pensioner . the games work on my pc fine ,Can you please help me

I am not sure you can move the game files to an external drive aside from as a backup.

When you try to install it at the external drive is it throwing an error?
