Hey everyone so my cousin was messing with my PC when i didn't know it and now my PC is running Microsoft basic graphic instead of what was on my PC i had AMD integrated graphics and i had the GPU tab in task manager and now i don't i have tried to re-download drivers and i still don't have the AMD integrated graphics i cant even download the AMD Adrenalin app and i can't play any of my games can someone help me please.

No, don't run DDU again. Just try installing the drivers.

Assuming successful installation, restart the system.

You have to unzip that file and then run the installer.

Did you get a successful installation? If so, go to the AMD site:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html

Select the Download Windows Drivers button. Does the installer run and then identify your integrated GPU properly? If so, see if it will identify a compatible update.

so when i press install it goes to CMD and says start installing AMD drivers and then closes and doesnt do anything else

Is the system using Windows basic or AMD drivers now?

thats what happends when i try to install the manufacturers drivers it goes to CMD and say installing AMD drivers then closes and does nothing

Try the AMD driver I just suggested a couple posts back.

Is your BIOS running default settings? If not sure, try resetting to default. Then try video drivers again.

While unlikely, it is possible that the integrated video portion of the CPU has become defective.

i went into bios earlier and restored to default before you started to help

so i contacted my cousin and he said he was trying to help me and he sent me a video on youtube on what he did would you like for me to send you the video?

here is the link he didnt specifie what he did he just said he followed the video

he also said when he went into device manager and clicked on AMD Intergrated graphics he clicked disable and thats when it started using the windoes basic graphics

Since you reinstalled Windows after whatever he did, it should have no impact on what is happening right now.

When you did the clean install, did you use a freshly downloaded image from Microsoft?

That was dumb.

I think you should start over. Follow this guide to install Windows.

So when i did the reset this pc i chose the one that said remove everything idk if that reinstalled windows to were it will work like you said

so i need a 8GB USB hard drive to do it i dont have one so im going to have to wait until monday afternoon before i can get one

When you run the driver installer and it fails,
are there any folders created in C:\AMD?

so the chipset drivers download and install with no problem but when i try to download the video drivers is when i get the error

i checked in my C drive and the only thing for amd is the chipset drivers
