Hello,
I was just wondering what schools use as their database system for their students accounts. Also what is the best way to make one of these i run a small tutoring business and need to set up accounts so that when they log onto a separate computer their work is on their account.

They likely use prepackaged specialty software, or they have a staff of several developers with expertise in database and web development.

Greg mentions tutoring, and I assumed he meant the students would access remotely by a browser, but perhaps he is asking about logging onto a server within a LAN?
