Help Printer will not print Spooler is not running

I am not able to print. My Spooler is not running. How can I resolve this problem?

have you installed the latest printer device drivers?
was it working fine previously??
Go to device manager uninstall printer and do a scan for hardware changes.
If needed install printer drivers?

You cannot add a printer and you receive printer spooler error messages in Windows XP!

type services.msc in run prompt & check Print spooler services is started & startup type is automatic
