help recovering read only hidden archive file on desktop

Hi, I have a customer who decided to hide a file on her desktop, she is running windows me. and now she can not recover certain files because of this hidden archive. how does she unhide it as she cant see it because its hidden.

Open My Computer, go to the Tools menu and select Folder Options.

Click on the View tab and check off "Show All Files" and uncheck "Hide Protected Operating System Files" if necessary.
