Well it seems that my motherboard has had it, so now I'm wondering if I should get the exact same kind as before (ASUS P5P800 SE), or if another board would be better.

I have an Intel P4 650 HT processor, with an nVedia 6200 graphics card (AGP - should have thought that out better!)...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would try selling the agp card. It's low end anyway. You can get a p35 board starting at around $100 for an msi version (newegg). The only board I can recommend for agp is the asrock 4core vsta ($62 newegg), which has agp or pci-e and your choice of 2 ddr or ddr2 slots. It's not a great overclocker, but will permit you to stick with your agp card.

I'm trying to decide between the 7300 GT and 7600 GT, what would be a good motherboard to pair with the P4? Or is there a better mid-range video card that is better than those?
