Question Help setting up mobile hotspot

Recently purchased an overpriced Dell Inspiron 16 5620 and am challenged setting up a mobile hotspot. I get the message "We can't set up mobile hotspot bc your PC doesn't have an Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or cellular data connection." Don't know how to proceed. Need help. Thanks.

Thank you. I was able to get it connected. My phone was asking to turn off the Data Saver which I had a little difficulty finding.

But now I can't find the standard USB ports to charge my phone by my laptop. There are a couple of ports, but none on my NEW laptop have standard USB ports. So how to do I charge my phone from it? Oy.

Based on the pictures, there's two USB Type-A ports, which are the "standard" USB ports. There's also a USB-C port. If your phone has a USB Micro-B, the other side of the cable must be a USB Type-A or Type-C connector. Any Type-B to Type-B, unless it's an extension cable, is an invalid USB cable configuration.
