[SOLVED] HELP Task Manager Showing 2 cores instead of 4

i upgraded my cpu from pentium g2030 to i5 3550
in device manager it says 4 cores but in task manager its 2 cores i tried in msconfig but it also says 2 cores
can anyone help me? i upgraded my cpu but it fells same :(

Yeah that's what often happens if change to a higher core cpu. Usually Windows checks number of processors in msconfig > boot to force the amount of cores as before to make sure the os boots. Just needed to uncheck number of processors option and reboot.
