i'm working with 50mg image files and i need speed. everything is tediously slow. i don't do 3-d. i just want to edit my huge files with speed, reliability, and quality. i've heard that matrox is good for image work. i've heard otherwise. can anyone suggest a graphics card for my needs...thanks

Matrox cards produce the best image quality, bar none. I'm not sure if sine sort of professional card would provide better performance for your "image files." What's the program you're using, photoshop?
