Question Help with a wifi connection on an Epson printer ?

I really don't know why in the last 3 months it is impossible to let my Epson WF-7710 printer on Windows 10 connect
I have posted my configuration many time on this forum
my hub is the TIM HUB+ Executive ZTE H388XF and i used it with the epson many years with no issue. front panel of the epson is working great with wifi signals on excellent ip adress correct
if i scan with wakemeonlan app the addresses epson status is off.

tried many times.now i have restarted the pc after a night and the printer launch last printing. crazy.

Just to be sure: the Epson printer is using wireless connectivity - correct?

Try disabling IPv6. Determine if that makes any difference.

Immediate objective being to ensure that the printer is correctly configured.

If unable to print wirelessly, try a wired connection (USB or Ethernet) to gain access to the printer and make to test and print out configuration changes.

Also: try to post everything in English. Although some things can be worked out by position and/or context doing so can be problematic and lead to errors.

Where are you getting the drivers? Just because "Epson" may appear in the website name/URL does not mean that the website is truly Epson.

Are you manually downloading, installing, and configuring the drivers? No third party tools or installers.

And also verify that you are are using a wired network PC connected to the router. And that the printer is configured for wireless network connectivity.

is a mess after years of good usage
i have a samsung laser printer via wifi and works great
in the past both epson and samsung worked great wifi.

due room space is impossible to work with cables

What are those two devices at 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1. 18 ?

The Report is very helpful - take a close look at the report. Especially Page 1.

The report shows what the printer "thinks" its' network world looks like.

I have the feeling something reset all. but is not the installer, maybe another app about cookie, ora cleaning.

Reinstall the drivers, reconfigure, and verify that the printer prints just as you have been doing. Use a document that has recently and sucessfully printed.

Just for the record: what configuration changes/entries do you make during the printer driver reinstall process?

If the document prints then again run the report page and mark the pages PRINTING SUCCESSFUL".

Next the difficult part: Carefully compare the report pages item by item and look for what is different or has changed between FAILED and SUCCESSFUL.

Circle anything different.

On Page 1, I noted the "Link Down Counts" being 0 and 39. I would expect, based on the history herein, that the "39" is now a higher value - correct? Meaning that you have had to reinstall the drivers a few more times....

And "IL TEMPIO DEI DANNATI" means (per Google Translator/Italian) "THE TEMPLE OF THE DAMMED".

Is that really your wireless SSID? Not judging - just looking for things that may be astray.

Obviously a lot to do. The printer seems to be losing its' wireless configuration settings.

When you reinstall the drivers you reestablish the correct settings and the printer prints again.

On the printer can you disable the wired connectivity - shown as Enable

Once you can discover what settings are getting altered then the next step is to prevent that from continuing to happen.

Looking back I am wondering about that Wifi-direct IP address of 192.168.223.1 - bottom right page 1/4, Post #11.

It seems to me that 192.168.1.223 would be expected.....

Your router is 192.168.1.1 - correct?
 
The router IP address of 192.168.1.1 represents the router/gateway that the printer requests an IP address from. 192.168.1.1 is commonly used and is the same IP address used by my router as well.

Each time the printer is turned off and then on again, the printer must request an IP address (DHCP). The router/gateway provides an IP address but only for a certain amount of time per the lease time presented in "ipconfig /all". Your router's lease time setting (per Post #1) appears to be just over 50 hours. Not a real technical concern for the time being. Leave the lease time alone.

The router provides an available DHCP address which means that the printer's IP's address can change. If the printer's IP address changes then other devices will not be able to "find" or communicate with the printer.

The IP address provided by the router must not be in use by any other devices. The router can and does manage DHCP IP addresses in a manner that avoids assigning duplicate IP addresses. Plus the router may be configured to allow only a specific range DHCP IP addresses.

End users can all too easily undo such things and problems result.

The printer should have an IP address that does not change: a Static IP address. And that IP address should be mapped to the printer's MAC address.

Which is sort of the overall key here. The only way that the printer can be identified as THE printer is via the printer's MAC. That MAC must be correct for the printer and unique in that no other device has that same MAC. One of the router's jobs is to keep track of device MACs and whatever IP address is being used by that specific MAC.

You can see that by looking in the ARP table. Run "arp /a" via the Command Prompt.

What to do:

1) Refer to the router's User Guide Manual to learn how and configure a Static IP address for the printer. Just use 192.168.1.223 for the time being (subnet mask - 255.255.255.0).

2) Go into the printers configuration pages and to configure the printer to have a Static IP address of 192.168.1.223.

3) Disable wired connectivity on the printer. The printer should be configured for wireless connectivity with the wireless security level configuration necessary to communicate with the router. Because the printer is able to sometimes print the security level is already in place and working.

The tricky part may be the connectivity itself. The printer supports wired (Ethernet), wireless, and Wifi-direct).

All three listed on the printer's configuration pages.

Wired connectivity should be disabled and I believe that Wifi-Direct should be disabled.

Leaving just wireless which is the desired/required network connectivity for the Epson printer.

Note the different MAC addressses on the printer's configuration page at the top of Page 1.

I believe that the applicable MAC for the printer is 9C AE D3 F1 35 2D

The confusing part, to me anyway, is that Access Point MAC B6 59 43 75 DF AE entry in Wireless.

That entry should either, I think, be blank or perhaps match the printer's MAC. May be moot if wireless is disabled.

Which begs the question: is there an Access Point in your network?

As a summary.

The printer should have an assigned Static IP address being provided to the printer by the router via the printer's MAC 9C AE D3 F1 35 2D. That would be done on the router.

On the printer: wired and wifi-direct connectivity would be disabled. And the printer configured to use 192.168.1.223 for wireless network connectivity.
 
no access point here just the router.

the mac address is configured on the router on a certain ip (192.168.1.5) but I think i did something wrong last time I worked on the router.

Wi Fi Direct is not disable but still thinking the issue is on router.

I think the issue is on the router because I use a ui mask in two different section of the online router configuration browser
