Hey, I have a Gigabyte GTS 450. the cooling system is not working anymore, so I just built-in two case fans to the radiator of the GPU and I connected them to the PSU, the point is that now I'm loking for a more "sofisticated" cooling system, one that let me control de rpm of the fans (and probabli more powerful fans). The point is that the conector of the GPU for the fans is pretty strange:

And I have no idea of how to conect a 3 pin or 4 pin conector to it, Is there any conversor or anyway to make a jumper (splice) the wires?
As I said, I want to controll the rpm of the fans (or let it in auto, but the point is that they won't be working at 100% all the time) with a program like MSI afterburned or something.
I have though that maybe i would connect the gpu fans to the motherboard (that have 1 4-pin conector) and control it from there...

Well ¿Any suggestion?

The fans I would want to use are those (because of the price, but I have no problem in buying otrers while they don't cost too much)

Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english, is not my mother language.

I assume when you say the cooling system isn't working anymore more, you mean the fan within the radiator isn't operational any more. That connector you see is not the fan connector. (well the fans get powered through there but its not the main connector) That "odd" connector you see there that you hook up into your power supply unit is a pci power connector(as far from I can tell by the picture and I could be wrong). Dissasemble the radiator to get out the fan from within and if I can see correctly, theres a fan connector that plugs into the opposite end of the odd connector piece. Once you get the fans out, look at the fan size and I highly recommend the noctua fans. Although they are completely hideous IMO, they work the best and the...

Their a little more expensive than most, ranging around 25 dollars but are worth the money.

I think you didn't understand me. The problem with the cooling system of the gpu is that the fans "burned" (that's the expresion we use in spain, I don't know if you use the same). The radiator is fully operative, as I said, I'm using it with two case fans conected direcly to the psu. What I want now is to know if I can conect 2 fans with a 3 or 4 pin conection to the conection that fixes in the wire you can see in the picture to controll them as if they were the original gpu fans. Or if I can put two fans in the same 4-pin conection of the motherboard (my MOBA just have one conection) and controll both by software.

The old gpu fans where pluged into the gpu, the wire you see in the picture it's not the energy wire of the gpu, is the wire that connect the fans of the gpu to the gpu.
