Hello, I'm a newbie looking to build a gaming system for the first time, so with the help of some research i devised the linked build.
My main questions are: Are my components compatible? Is there somewhere i am paying too much, and should i change anything?

The storage device is missing from the list, and its an SSD M.2 2280 Gigabyte 1TB TLC NVMe ,
The total price is going on 1600$/1400€.

Thank you very much in advance!

I am fairly ignorant when it comes to overclocking, but the answer is a bit, if it makes sense

I have considered AMD, my current choice is based on a friends recomendation coupled with a premade build on pc part picker that i tinkered with
The reason im asking about overclocking is the board.
thats a 150 dollar board, that a lot. you need z390 (or z370) to overclock, but you can get a 100 dollar cheaper board if you go with the BXXX whatever number intel uses.

As for amd, you might get every so slightly less performance at the same/a little lower price, the reason you should get amd is the upgrade path.
that board will not support anything more than a i9 9900ks
while a 75$ board from amd will 1. have overclocking and 2. can go...

Are you planning on overclocking?

Also, have you considered AMD?
