Help with new build

As the above person has suggested, a 670SLI set up will be the best option (out of your list) - I personally wouldnt go with CF as it scales worse than SLI, even though both scale badly. I would also suggest going with 4gig versions as the extra ram will come in handy for future games.

It seems like 670 sli is the way I am leaning. Is 680 sli noticeably faster for 250$ more?

Thanks.

only if you can heavily overclock the 680's. However a average overclocked 670 will perform the same as a stock 680.
I would go with the 670 sli and keep some money in your pocket for other things.

U can see in the above link 680 sli is only 2% faster than 670 sli. 670 sli will be best bang for buck.

I also have to agree that 670's in sli is your best bet. As was mentioned before, only by heavily overclocking 680's in sli will you get a better deal.

Same could be said for 7970's in CF. If you opted to overclock them (keep in mind they're likely louder, hotter, and more power hungry than 2 680's) you would actually get even better performance than 2 680's in sli, for a little more money than 2 670's.
