Specs:
mobo- gigabyte z87x-ud3h, bios version F10b,
cpu i5-4670k,
cpu cooler-Hyper 212X ,
gpu - Asrock rx 7800xt challenger oc,
ram: corsair 4x4gb @1600 mhz dual channel,
ssd: Crucial MX 500 500gb

My cpu is like 10 years old. never tried overclocking before. But now to reduce my gpu's bottleneck a bit, i'm trying to overclock my cpu. I used 1.220v vcore and used 42 ratio for turboboost for all 4 cores. Should i use fixed ratio instead disabling turboboost so that my cpu allways run on 4.2 ghz? Though i did not wanted to run my cpu on max frequency constantly. but i'm getting whea uncorrectable error and clock watchdog timeout BSOD either during starting of my pc or just after starting it. are those errors cpu overclocking related? plz help me on cpu overclocking.

Also should i decrease my ram freq to 1330mhz for stability? currently it's on 1600mhz(stock) dual channel on 1.5v with xmp on.

For Haswell, that is pretty aggressive. Diminishing returns after about 1.35 volts.

I want to say I used 1.29 volts for 4.3Ghz on my, quite poor overclocker, 4770k.

1.22 might work on a very very good chip, or a devil's canyon refresh.

I would say if you can track down a cheap 4790k, that does 4.4Ghz out of the box.
