Help with overclocking

Hi,

I am looking for some advice about over clocking because this is my first time
that i am going to try this. These are some of my parts of my new pc :

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4Ghz
2 X Corsair XMS2 DDR2 1Gb PC6400 (800mhz)
Zalman FS-C77 Fatality cpu cooler
Asus P5W-DH Deluxe
Tagan TG580 (580W)
Radeon X1900XTX 512MB

I would like to know what i will have to do to reach 3ghz or 3.2ghz, i think i don't need to push it any more because my pc is running all the day and i want any hardware problems.

Also which programs should i use to see if it is stable at those speeds.

Of course any other suggestions will be welcome

Yep, wusy's oc'ing guide is one of the best.

That guide is very helpful, but because it's aiming for 4ghz i believe that some
settings at the bios might not to be needed because i only need to reach 3ghz.
