Help with PSU type...

They carry the following three power supplies with that part number:

Aopen-$39
Sparkel-$26
Fortron-$24

Guess what? They're identicle. They are all manufactured by Fortron, hence the Fortron/Source Power Man (FSP) model number. They're all equally great quality power supplies.

The Fortron/Sparkle, Antec TruePower, as well as the high end Enermax have all worked very well for me and those are the ones that I continue to suggest.

I don't know who makes Allied, but I do know that there are several high quality OEM power supply manufacturers making power supplies for lesser known retail brands. I've came across these through my business of refurbishing OEM computers (turning stripped down office computers into "multimedia PC's" for the used market).
