I have a toshiba satellite laptop a135 s4527. I downgraded from vista to xp (or upgraded, depending on how you look at it) I used this forum for help with drivers: http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/showthread.php?t=178511
and after reading through the whole forum, apparently I'm the only one with this problem. After installing xp and all drivers, I had a choice of several wireless connections including my own linksys wrt54g router. I restarted the computer and all networks disappeared. "No wireless networks were found in range" I unplugged router/cable box, made sure wireless adapter is turned on...nothing...followed microsoft troubleshooting guide..nothing...Reinstalled xp and drivers in exact same order and cannot get any networks to appear. Driver I'm using is atheros ar5006eg. Anyone have any ideas, tips, hints, tylenol...? Thanks for the help.
