help with switchable graphics

my laptop has a dual graphics card,
1) 2GB amd radeon hd 8730m
2) intel HD graphics

everytime i play a game and quit it i can see the intel logo down on the toolbar near the wi-fi symbol which indicates that it was used for the game. the problem is that the games keep lagging. how do i make the games use my proper graphics card ? i.e the 2GB amd radeon hd 8730m for gaming and not the intel card ?

Dual graphics use both the graphic cards when you play a game.
there is no problem if Intel Hd icon is shown below.
you just have to do one setting,
right click on desktop>configure switchable graphics>add application>add the application you want and assign High performance.
this may help you
