Hello,

My pc has been running quite slow recently, so i'm looking to upgrade my GPU, CPU and Motherboard. But i'm not quite sure if the components will work together.

What i have now:
Core i5-4670 3.4GHz processor
Geforce GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 Gaming 4GB edition graphics card
B85-G41 PC Mate(MS-7850) motherboard

The components i've found:
AMD Ryzen i5 1600X processor
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti GAMING 8G graphics card
ASUS PRIME A320M-K AMD, Socket-AM4 motherboard

Thank you in advance.

Solution
Yes, they are compatible but:
- A320 are lower end boards, you will not be able to fully use that CPU, you should look for B350 board instead
- you also need new RAM, as your old setup uses DDR3 and Ryzen uses DDR4
I would also consider keeping your current GPU for now, it is still solid card, and GPU prices are high now.

Thank you for your answer.
Would it be a better idea if i just bought a completely new rig? I have 24 GB of ram (It's a lot, i know), and i dont really want to throw them all out the window.

Alright, i'll look into it - Thank you for your help :)
