I cannot get my new system to come up for first boot. MY power button only turns on and my internal speakers don't make any noise even when I take out the ram. Could those little switches stop my bios from loading? Ive purchased a new vid card. I have a new 550 watt power supply. My ram is new as well as cpu and board. I am at my wits end. I have purchased a new case (Antec sonata III). Am I just throwing money away? Oh yeah. I've taken out the battery and switched RTC Jumper as well. Can one of u put me out of my misery?

have you plugged BOTH power connectors from the power supply in to the motherboard?
one is 24 pin , the other is either 4 or 8 pin and is usually located near the top and back of the board in the area of the processor
