It's not the people Jimmy it's the governments. Also when things get bad it's really difficult to turn it around. What makes me sick is seeing the $trillions thrown at the banks last year because of greed - that $4bn given to Moldova doesn't look particularly expensive now does it? How many countries would those $trillions have sorted out?

And yes I know Russia sells a lot of arms but the point shouldn't be lost on you. These people are killing each other with guns the so-called 'advanced' nations sold to them. What chance do they have?

Keith,
When an irrational diehard fanboy like yourself puts someone on ignore, that shows the person must have been very effective at dismantling the fantasy world you and your ilk try to reside in.

This was caused sometime around the time you posted in a November 2008 thread where the moderator finally had to tell you:

=======================================
Chad, I suggest leaving this thread and not returning.

Any more posts beyond my post will results in your removal from AMD section.
=======================================

Hah, As I often said there, is this some kind of AMD sanctuary where only gushing praise of AMD can be uttered. And because the AMDroids cried and whined like the bitches they are, so it came to be.

At the end of the day, I sorted out heaps of clowns on that site, for the greater good.

And no doubt you gave the mods a good chuckle at how someone like you could be so hypocritical and just outright dumb.

Um its not particularly Russia but ex-USSR tops that saw a profit. They had access to warehouses filled with guns and weapons. They saw countries that would use them. They sold them.

The US sells old tech to a lot of countries. And a lot of them are not gurrila warefare types such as China. Hell we train the Israeli pilots and sell them our older F-16s. They do use them to fight their own battles.

Problem with the countries that use them to kill each other is that they have too much greed. Africa has the largest amounts of diamonds on the planet. They could create a super power over night if they wanted to. Instead one person wants it all while the rest suffer.

If the banks themselves collapsed then the whole world would hurt, much like the world started to after the crisis started. $4Bn is no small amount to a country that has no real gross national product beyond wine. $4Bn to Moldova was a lot, but the president at the time squandered it instead of giving it to the people and creating jobs or allowing the US to build up old factories that would create jobs and a source of export for them thus a source of income into the country. Sure the US benefits but so does the country. Do you think that China doesn't benefit from all the exports the US gets from them? They do. Big time.

I asked for a war/battle in another thread but I guess its already going on here. Can I join? Ill take that as a yes! Well then chad, you have this way about you that just PISSSES people off real fast and real ugly like. I personally think you should be perma banned!!!! As for all the rest of the junk about politics and war and BULLSH*T......... well it is a reality but hey this is Toms not MSN!! If a war is to be faught here at least make it Intel/AMD war. We get enough of that SH*T elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i heard Intel grinds up puppies and kittens to make their CPU's. When they run out of livestock, they grab school children in their white van trimmed out in Intel blue.

You seem to think that being asked to no longer post (i.e., a form of banishment) is a "badge of honor" of some type? You do realize that this is not an honor that most intellectual people would be proud to claim.

Humorously you were put on my ignore list not because of any kind of meaningful discussion that had been taking place but because you continued to flame-bait and personally attack people for 3 pages. It seems you have a difficult time understanding that having a meaningful discussion does not require personal attacks and flame-baiting. (But then you really aren't alone on this forum in that regard... you have several brethren here that share your affliction.)

You appear to think that because you keep posting drivel that might include minor semblances of truth that you are "correct" and "truthful" and "only correcting the wrongs of the world". I know of another group with that mindset. They are generally put on to "no-fly" lists; they are also probably proud of being "banned".

You need to understand that when it is at a forum infested with AMDroids, then it does become a honour, because it means that one was being that thing AMDroids hate the most, being logical and balanced.

Keith with your blind AMD love, what you fail to recognise is that I let the AMDroids set the tone and then respond accordingly. But when an AMDroid attacks people and posts ridiculous nonsense, you applaud them and call anyone seeking to correct them, a flamer.

You are a funny man Keith.

Your beloved AMDzone is the closest thing to Al-Qaeda, amongst computer forums.

On AMDzone you have retards who think they are fighting some glorious holy war and that all Intel users are Infidels.

You keep claiming to be logical and balanced but you do not actually manifest either of those traits in your posts. Besides you are about as "logical and balanced" as Fox News is "fair and balanced".

It isn't hard to review that thread to realize that Mr. Chad Boga started the attacking and flame baiting. But I know that in your mind you were just combating "nonsense". In the case of that particular thread it was not allowable to have people speculate on the performance of something that was not yet available. That was just too much for you to take. It only took until your fourth post for you to start becoming abusive. Your third post was rude, but not yet abusive. But that appears to be about your average on how long it takes you to start being abusive.

OH and KUDOS taking my one insinuated comment and going overboard and then going too far. You have a knack for doing that.

I'll leave that for others to judge, but I doubt anyone outside of a mental institution would think you were more balanced than me.

In the case of that particular thread it was not allowable to have people speculate on the performance of something that was not yet available.
I'm not sure which post you are talking about there Keith, but whether it was the one I am about to expand upon or not, the following example will be illustrative.

On XS, you had the little green kool aid drinkers running around buying into the notion that PhII would deliver 15 to 20% IPC improvement over PhI and if memory serves me right, I think I stated that 7 to 12% would be far more realistic and that there was ZERO chance of it being 20%.

Of course I was attacked as a heretic and fools there wanted to drive me out with flaming torches and pitchforks, just because I refused to drink the green kool aid.

Similarly, I encountered ridiculous abuse from the green team when I pointed out to them that it was very unlikely that they would get more than a 5% boost from DDR3 alone. Again I was disturbing their fantasy world.

Keith I look forward to you constantly reminding AMD users to turn off Turbo in Thuban and Bulldozer.

I look forward to it even more when 16 and more cores starts hitting the desktop, making Turbo even more of a must have and you(having dug yourself into a hole of ignorance where you couldn't even see the short term technological implications of Turbo), continue to tell people to turn off that Turbo.

In closing, Keep Pluckin that Chicken.

Only an idiot would attempt to derail speculative discussions when no actual data is available for either side of an argument. And you freely admit you did and/or do it often. But to do that and also continually become abusive while doing so is kind of pathetic.

If you are so "right" and "logical" and "truthful" then you shouldn't need to resort to abuse or insults. So why do you keep doing so? Yes... I know I'm wasting my time actually mentioning this to a lost cause such as you.

Of course it's about greed. Intel is no longer a company based on progression, but on making money.

Businesses are in business to make money. If you're not making money, then you're out of business. A company "progresses" because it has to, not because it wants to or because it will be for the good of mankind. Any other assertion is ridiculous and shows how incredibly naive you are. Intel isn't progressing as quickly as before because they don't have to... they can continue to be profitable as long as they're not being pushed.

Now if AMD were to release some wonderchip that took everyone by surprise within the next 6 months, you would see Intel scrambling to improve their products. Companies don't spend more money than they have to; they have shareholders to answer to. Shareholders tend to get very upset when their companies start to lose money. Don't fool yourself, AMD is not interested in progressing more than they absolutely have to to become profitable again. Although right now, they seem more interested in securing more litigation against Intel to become profitable... rather than actually putting out a superior product. As a former AMD user myself, I'm pretty disappointed in the direction they've taken. Athlon64 was beautiful when all we had were P4s... I just wish they would have been more competitive against Core 2.
