i would love to see another big chip like the athlon 64. that chip was king for two years before intel dropped the core duo.
maybe in 2010 with AMD collecting 1.25 billion from intel we will see another great chip.

my first system was a athlone, asus based system and i would love to build another one just like it.

According to some people AMDs HT is not HT. Its better.

While it does look interesting in the end its the same thing as intels SMT. Making one core do 2 threads. But some people will never admit that.

I hope they have samples already if not youll likely be correct. They need to debug inhouse on that sucker for at least 3 months , 12 to be safe.
