first Crysis was pretty good... and its all downhill from there...Nothing really new. I may pick it up when it goes on sale for $5.99 on Steam later instead of paying $59.99 now

[citation][nom]cravin[/nom]Do you know the meaning of the word estimation? How much is the game cpu limited? How would it do on stock clock speeds? I haven't setup the system yet so i don't know how much I'm going to overclock it. You just trying to be a dick or what?Lets say 3.2ghz or something[/citation]

I know what estimation means. I also know that it's useless if the variance between bottom and top are in several dozen percent or more. So, no, I wasn't trying to be rude and I apologize if I gave the implication that I was trying to be rude. I was just trying to be realistic.

At 3.2GHz, it would only be somewhat better than 2.8GHz since that's only a roughly 15% overclock. IDK about the limits for the Phenom II x4 8xx models, so I can't say what to expect from it. However, if I was to hazard a guess, I think that more like 3.4GHz to 3.6GHz should be possible with at least decent cooling (something like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus or Evo).

For an approximation on gaming performance at the requested CPU frequency of 3.2GHz, I think that it'd be playable, but not excellent. Assuming that the GTX 660 Ti is at or near reference frequencies, the memory is at or near rated performance, I'd expect graphics quality settings around high to be the most that would have decent performance in 1080p. I don't think that heavy MSAA or such would be feasible. If the system handles the CPU 3.2GHz overclock well enough in stability, I think that increasing it somewhat will yield more worthwhile results compared to stock.

I'll wait for more info on the game before passing absolute judgement and I can't say for certain whether or not it will perform to your liking however you intend to use it since IDK how your likes/dislikes compare to my own and IDK exactly what settings and such you'd play at in what situations, but I think that this gives a good general idea.
