Hi guys, Can I use an Elgato capture card with my PC, instead of my xbox?

Hello, so I'm trying to start a gaming channel, and I don't want to record on my PC using Fraps, and I was wondering if I could use the Elgato HD with my PC, or is it incompatible?

Hello, sorry for answering your question 6 months after you asked it but I now have an answer...
Yes, you can record your PC as long as you have another pc to do the actual recording and to run the elgato game capture program/application.
