So I recently had a problem with high CPU temps which was bcz I accidentaly auto-oc it in bios, now that i set everything to default it runs at 4,5ghz and reaches very high temperatures, it goes up to 100 degrees celsius (bout 212 fahrenheit) on all cores and the package, and this is a temp im not comfortable at all with and im sure my cpu aint happy about it either.

I have an i7-4790K which base clock is @4GHz

Will check now, but the cooling isnt my problem though, its most likely overclocked since its running at like 4,4-4,5 GHz when the base speed is 4GHz, I even reset my bios to default settings which didnt work

Maybe could be false temps? and how to I then disable cpu turbo mode?
Mobo: Asus z97-E
Stock cooler from a reliable store, dunno the brand cuz i dont wanna dismantle it rn.

This wasnt a problem before clumsy me started fiddling around in the bios, and i cant even find the damn turbo setting, the only overclocking setting i find is for ram and for overclocking the cpu, ONLY overclocking, not undoing the overclock if that made sense

Might have been false temps all along, i have seemed to fix the overclocking problem a bit, its running at 4,2 ish now and i will provide link to picture below. Its a bit interesting
