High CPU temps

I am running an i7 6700K not over clocked with the hyper 212 evo, my temps stay below 30 C at idle and in basically every game I'm getting temps below 45 C which is pretty good but whenever I launch csgo my idle temps (below 30C) LAUNCH to 58 C and up which confuses me why only in this game my temps can launch atleast 20 degrees in a matter of seconds. I understand csgo is a CPU intensive game but why do my temps sky rocket instantly btw my Asus program says my temps are below 50 on csgo where as HW cpuid monitor says I'm medium 60s C

Solution
That's no longer idling.

Don't forget, VAC, Steam, all these chatty things, and flash-based content, all love to eat CPU runtime for breakfast.

The difference in temps between your ASUS program and CPUID is probably just different sensors: the Asus program is reading the useless one. CPUID is probably reporting the actual CPU temp, the Asus program is probably reporting the temperature of the motherboard from nearby the CPU.

Edit: I forgot to say, your temps are probably okay. Check that cooler to see if it's actually mounted correctly (with the LGA 115X mounting hardware and not the 2011 hardware) and whether it has a proper amount of thermal compound.

I know that isnt idle as soon as i launch the game but how can my cpu jump 30 degrees in a matter of seconds it doesn't even build up. Like i said i think the cooler is mounted correctly as i get great temps in every game but csgo

When I water cool with a custom loop I never have the issue of a quick temp jump. However when I air cool/AIO water cooler build I have seen my temps jump really fast. So again not surprised by your claims. If your really worried you could re-apply thermal compound again. But if you have done this correctly in the very recent past it likely won't change anything. While a couple seconds is a bit fast, it's not impossible as every piece of silicon is different. Granted I would have expected a jump like that over say 5-10 seconds but it's not that far off those numbers either at 2.
